How to get around
Discover La Palma island as you like! You can visit it completely at your leisure by renting a vehicle, or if you don't drive or simply prefer to go with the flow, opting for public transport (www.tilp.es), transfer services or organized excursions.
Rent a car

Important
If you choose to get around by bicycle, you must keep in mind that there is only a bike lane along part of the LP-2 highway, in the south of the island. In the rest of the areas it will be necessary to travel on the roads, so caution with traffic is recommended. On the other hand, due to the orography of the island, our roads usually have quite a few curves and steep slopes, so it may be advisable to rent an electric bicycle.

Public bus service
Transportes Insular La Palma (TILP) is the local company that provides the public guaguas (buses) service, with which you can visit all the main centers of the La Palma towns and many of their neighborhoods, as well as the main coastal tourist areas. Important
it is generally not possible to reach the main natural areas. To be able to reach them by public transport you would have to opt for a taxi or arrive by bus to the nearest stop from which you can take a taxi.

Taxi service
If you don't drive or prefer to let yourself go, with the taxi service you can get to all the places you want to visit whenever you want, since you can decide with the driver the day and time that best suits you. This way you will not have to adjust to the schedules of the public bus service or the days and times pre-established by the transfer companies or organized excursions. Taxi licenses on the island of La Palma are municipal, which means that taxis from a municipality can only provide services from said municipality, regardless of the destination.

Transfers (transport only, without tour guide)
If you prefer to get around by bus but cannot reach certain places of interest with the public service (especially when it is a natural space), you can also reach them using shuttle or transfer services without a tour guide.
