Archaeological centres

The Canary Islands are the only archipelago in the Macaronesian region (which includes Azores, Madeira, the Canary Islands and Cape Verde) that had a native population before its conquest. This significantly contributes to the cultural wealth of our island. The island of La Palma has some of the most important archaeological sites in the Canary Islands, which allow us to study the origin and development of pre-Hispanic populations. In addition, some of them have interesting centres that reveal their mysteries:
